Well first you have to demonstrate something like it is possible - which is where I run into trouble. If it is better people will begin to move. But for some reason people won’t leave a sinking ship for fear the next ship is somehow even worse.

I agree with you and disagree. My fiance doesn’t want children. I am indifferent. And what I’ll say is - if you want to see things improve. Fewer people having kids is a net positive. Think of it like one step back to take two steps forward, if we don’t eff it up before then.

Sounds weird to apply to reproduction - but we desperately need to take a step back and rediscover ourselves.

I think you’re seeing the feedback loop of Millennials, Gen Z, and immigrants who were sold an American dream. It’s actually pretty incredible to see it conspire this way.

But the hardcore capitalists don’t see the failing monetary system as the problem either. It’s very weird.

No one is speaking the same language and no one knows the root causes. They are reacting to the surface level consequences. Fascinating to watch.

I would argue that leftism has aspects of the natural order. Because I think Alan Watts would agree there is no order, it just is.

My personal take. “Leftism” and “Rightism” both contain the dichotomy. And currently the “devil” or “away from god” side is winning in both sides. Just because one preaches words - doesn’t mean their actions are aligned.

When you see the movie and then the scores - I begin to buy into the conspiracy.

I like to pretend we already do live in a timechain and that the last block has already been mined and we are desperately trying to find equilibrium and build a new timechain before we self destruct. Makes the story more interesting vs having a bunch of incompetent people doing things.
