I’m always surprised by how many have never watched this. Complete All-Star cast and perfectly timed. 
Gary Oldman is amazing. I felt shades of his character from Luc Besson’s The Professional in that clip. In a much less bloody movie, Oldman and Tim Roth are brilliant in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. #filmstr #movie

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is an example of pre-Star Wars expanded universe fiction, where authors extract minor characters from beloved works and write a story that no one asked for. 😒
Kinda sounds fun…I honestly can’t believe I haven’t watched it.
I thought R&G Are Dead was a fabulous adaptation of Tom Stoppard’s play. Ideas and thoughts about life and society can be presented when viewing stories or events, Hamlet in this case, through the eyes of minor characters that would get lost or ignored or be utterly out of character if told from the protagonist’s POV.
I also loved Andor; I like when minor characters are given a chance to tell their stories.
