I have a friend with a thriving content-lead digital business

He said once “my biggest fear is YT cancelling me”

They have a 500k subscriber channel they use everyday

Yet they’re still not on Nostr…

Its like people know that they’ve build kingdoms on quicksand, but the incentive requires one to ignore that fact

It means they self-censor in order to stay in their lane

1 - this is a house of cards that surely is just a matter of time before a meltdown

2 - it really makes one consider the power of these platforms to morph information to their liking. The bigger the user (think YT channel size), the larger they have an incentive not to be banned...

Remember: freedom of speech is not freedom of reach

So should you say something that is not allowed by the thought police, your content gets buried
