I have a buffer before and after the event. Looks like most things in Uvita are within walking distance. One thing to consider is transport to/from SJO, from what I could tell, charter planes are either all booked up or they stop running at like 17:00 and therefor don't align well with most international arrivals at SJO.

Get couple folks in a car and check out Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park

Also on the (somewhat crazy) road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio park, there are many great restaurants and cool accomodations (it's like 1hr drive from uvita).

Also on the way there in Dominical there's pretty good food restaurant that has attached airplane (I think the airplane is now a hotel, but not sure):
