flu and covid season is upon us. my uncle and father were incredibly sick with covid. they're on the mend though.

glad to hear this

Yeah, me too. They both have health issues.

When covid started, I learned about vitamin D. I take it in high dose every day since. I was never so unaffected by colds as in those almost four years now. A sniffle from time to time, yes. Not one fever since.

I need to get on that, thanks for the reminder

Yeah, we started taking Vitamin D supplements back in February 2020. You don't need them in the warmer months if you're actively outside, IMO. Winter on the other hand, I'd say it doesn't hurt.

Vitamin D is such a safe stuff to take in a huge range of dosages and so hard to judge if it works in the moment that I won't take my chances. I'll stay on that stuff for life ;)

Fair point. The same with Vitamin C. You'll just pee out what your body can't use.

If you over-do it, you poo it out ;)

My dad keeps me supplied with that stuff :D

I took my flu vaccine and latest Covid vaccine which came out recently from Pfizer.

My partner just had this. 1 week of cold, 3 days ok, then 1 week of covid like symptoms. On the mend now though

All good here, but then we make sure to not go outside when they’re spraying.

yes
