I've seen this before, and not all dev cultures are the same.
I was thinking in terms of my own experience too. I have used devs in the past and have been gearing up to hire a dev for some work.
Started using AI last week and I no longer need their help. It's getting rough out there.
Utterly shit what's happened but fuck me, the guy was being a little short sighted🤦🏻♂️. As soon as you get the "Training our colleagues in India" email, that's the time to start reassessing your employment status!
