talho is a butcher shop, and aguar'dente is "firewater" which is portuguese for distilled spirits made of fruit, like Grappa from italy or "Rakija" or "Rakia" from eastern europe

it's awful though, tried like three different varieties, including the home made from my local guy and they are awful, i mean, "grozde rakija" in serbia is bad but that stuff was like low grade vodka compared to the poison that is madeira aguar'dente

i don't know what kind of still they use but it is wrawng wrang wrangw

i miss serbian schivovitsa, omg, that stuff is like the divine, godly version of distillation

i did have some really great grape based rakiya one time in bulgaria... drank about 100ml of it and then went off and adventured in a crazy rural zone in north Sofia called Manisterski Livadi... at one point had one leg fully immersed in a hole of mud... man that was fun
