MatΓ© is a holly tea (Ilex paraguariensis)

Kuding cha is another one (Ilex kudingcha)

Yaupon holly (Ilex vomitoria) and the rest of these all make naturally caffeinated traditional drinks

Very cool. I have Yaupons around and they are planted for landscaping in these parts. I’ll try soon.
