If bitcoin is any indication, we'll have far more controversies to come as this thing becomes more popular. Comes with the territory for decentralized stuff and not necessarily a bad thing either. Hope we can keep the vibes positive though.

Quality content is costly. Someone will surely find a way to have advertisement pay for that in some ways. Thatโs where it gets tricky, theyโll want data and the slope gets slippery

True that. But it was still a feature with extremely strong preferences among some.
For that matter even auto-translate on Amethyst upset a lot of people initially & there was a backlash (this was in Feb I think). Vitor stood his ground but made some UX changes and I think most people appreciate the feature now (or use the F-droid version that doesn't have it ๐)
