My dad, my older twin, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Anyone traveled this road and have advice? He's 81 and otherwise healthy.

This did not just "suddenly" happen. I suspect it has been manifesting and now he's at a tippimg point.

Frens take care of yourself.

I can't offer advice but I can offer an air hug🫂

everybody dies, I wish you luck and a good afterlife to your father

My father had AML. It seems to have been brought about by something called Polycythemia Vera, a general overproduction of red blood cells. He also had high blood pressure.

He got a bone marrow transplant but he didn't make it through although I think this was more due to possible mistakes made by the medical staff after the transplant.

Ask him if he knows if he has PCV and if he doesn't have him ask his doctor to check. Other than that, I don't really have any other advice but willing to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.

Thank you sir. Finding out how far along and his treatment options.
