It may not be an ear infection, you maybe getting allergies or getting a cold due to planning for the event. How do you know it’s middle ear? Did you try nasal decongestant does it still hurt? Is there any fluid from the ear? @jack
Take some pain medication 💊 use a warm compress( towel soaked in warm water, drain the excess water)
Colloidal silver, just dilute and either spray or dab depending on how sensitive the ear is.

Prayer isn’t an answer here, his ear is getting worse. He needs medicines. Theraflu can work as a painkiller or really any sx relief meds. Antibiotics augmentin or amoxicillin will kill the infection.
