The only way to not vote for this is to leave the country and take all assets out of it

Or vote third party

Libertarian?

At least you can rest your head easy at night knowing you didn’t consent for more death and destruction. Protest vote at the very least. I don’t buy the lesser of two evils narrative

Is there an antiwar third party? I wouldn't mind voting green, but I think the economics miss the mark. I thought the libertarian party had an unusual candidate this cycle who was pro-gov in a lot of ways.

I’m not sure, this is from Chase Oliver website. His platform is anti war it seems. Better than voting for Trump or Harris when it comes to war.

i'm pretty tired of hearing justifications for not evacuating that region, personally

people don't realise, when people flee, governments lose tax revenue and militaries lose personnel and so on

and yes, it can be rough because very often, other countries are aligned to the enemies of your freedom and make your life difficult where you flee to

it's not easy, any of it, but sticking around and tolerating it and putting yourself in the kill zone is just RETARDED and i'm tired of pretending it isn't

shit happens, and every so often war breaks out here and there, it's not unique to israel, lebanon, the middle east, or even eurasia or africa, happens EVERYWHERE

government gets coopted by megalomaniac eugenicists and people literally have to move

let's just say, that just as disasters like Helene are Acts of God, in some ways, so are the horrible human created disasters of these psychopaths taking over contrtol of everything

you wouldn't even blink at the advice to get the fuck out of the way of a hurricane, yet people literally think they should stand in the path of some violent maniac's plans to arrogate the right to govern a place?

it's the same picture

I read that the IRS doesn't let go of you even so many years after your renunciation of citizenship and departure. You Americans have it tough, my friend.

i'm australian, thank the Lord

dual dutch/australian... living in europe now... and feeling very distrustful of both governments these days, to the point where i want to be also out of EU jurisdiction

i was considering returning to Bosnia, which i really liked, but i'm gonna go in unto the Beast in her most elevated and isolated parts

Yeah, I think the exit tax is extremely high for US, so I've heard the best thing is to remain a citizen, bank in Bitcoin, and just never sell American investments so they can't tax them.

I would push back and say as a small income earned/saver that the cost of voting with my feet does many times more harm to myself than to the government I'm protesting.

So I'm not sure when that line is crossed.

I would actually like to move to El Salvador. But I don't know if that helps anybody.

there is no question about when the line from self defense to murder is crossed though, really

I felt this way last November when the conflict was escalating, like I couldn't get out soon enough. Now I'm numb to the images/avoid the thought. But I do want nothing to do with it.
