Wallets that implement the Zaps NIP are essentially able to inform #Nostr clients of the transaction in such a way that the overall UX massively improves. They're like social receipts.

Oh ok so zaps are like Venmo where the transaction is broadcast via notes whereas tops are just hidden between two parties?
