I’ve done this. Protein contributes to a feeling of fullness and satisfaction that lasts longer than sugars. Raw milk is overall good for you, despite some naysayers.

Isn’t raw milk a concern for pathogens?

The risk from a clean facility would be very low. But it doesn’t keep either. You’d need a regular supply.

Whole milk would work similarly, but have fewer direct health benefits. I would get organic.

I realize that with any type of food you’re always taking a sight risk from handling.

Yes. Similar to drinking raw eggs. Will you get sick? Probably not. Could you? You betcha.
