I agree. Have thought so for almost ten years. It only becomes more obvious to me. What blows my mind is how few people think about how the US moves forward. The focus is winning elections as if this is a solution. Both sides see oblivious to the practicality of the deep division. I never hear people talk about finding common ground and leaving each other alone.

When I mention solutions they can only talk about defeating the other side like they will go away or something. Yet they focus on preaching to their own side. It's absurd to me.
