Hey nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka any privacy tips when traveling internationally?

- encrypt laptop and turn off while traveling

- turn off biometrics on phone and only code unlock.

What else am I missing?

Why biometric?? I mean there are cameras everywhere and using code would be recorded in multiple angles and they don’t even have to ask you to unlock once the phone is confiscated.

Biometric data isn't legally protected in many countries, and as such, you can be compelled by force to unlock your device.

What I am saying is that with pin they don’t even need to ask you what the pin is if they confiscate your phone. They probably have captured you entering it in once in many of their cameras at the airport. With biometrics you can at least physically resist.
