I still favor capital punishment, though I know many Christian libertarians oppose it on moral grounds. I'm not fully convinced it's immoral. The Apostle Paul said in Acts 25:11 “If, then, I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die." I am opposed to the State, and to the State carrying out capital punishment, but it doesn't have to be exclusively carried out by the State. Often the victim's family or the whole community would carry out just executions. That said, I don't personally like the barbarity of stoning, and I'm not sure it's what Jesus would have us do.
