Remember when a massive influx of new #Nostr users from Android brought relays to their knees? Me neither, because it only happened when Damus hit the Apple App Store. The gloating from Android fanbois is shortsighted and completely misses the bigger picture. Mass adoption of Nostr and bitcoin won’t happen without iPhone App Store, or at least will happen much more slowly.

If Apple bans bitcoin wallets and Nostr clients how can mass adoption happens with iPhone people?

Apple fanboys don’t see the bigger picture that their closed source OS are taking away people’s freedom.

If Apple bans Bitcopin and Nostr, mass adoption is impossible - mass adoption of iPhone. People will buy the phone that works best for what they want to do.

Not everyone wants freedom, some will defend slavery and censorship with their lives, Nostr and Bitcoin isn’t for everyone.
