Ha! We don’t. Just like in real life, people have fake personas and pretend to be someone else. Mine is real. I’m no celebrity. My profile pic is real and I’m using my real name. I’m going to be optimistic and assume most accounts are real. The fakes and frauds will be exposed sooner than later.

I did my nip5 verification. There are paid domains and free ones too. I am curious because it gives anonymity but this does not mean there will be no fake accounts that are verified. I am not sure 🤓
It doesn't matter whether it's they or not. That's how a cult of personality is minimised.
Could you elaborate what you mean by "cult of personality"? Never heard of it.
It means giving a person's opinion more weight than it deserves just because it's a famous personality or an "authority ", especially when the subject is not that personality's expertise.
Elon Musk is a good example.
