Wut. Airplanes are the safest mode of transport. The difference in survival rate by literal seat number is so small as to be meaningless. The odds you'll be dead and someone else on your plane will live in aggregate across all plane trips you will ever take is so small you're probably more likely to get struck by lightning and live twice over a lifetime.

As a private pilot, I understand aviation safety. My point was that safety, however small the margin, shouldn’t be tied to wealth as a principle.

I absolutely agree with that principle. My point though is seat selection/location doesn't offer any kind of increase or decrease in safety. The difference is so marginal as to be meaningless in this specific case.
