Well in that case you move out your utxo and the wallet is empty. Nostr is kind different.

Yeah true
the history of that wallet lives forever just like nostr though. on nostr it's not as permanent since there's no timechain. also, you can at least request deletion of your history on nostr.
Yeah but as far as I understand that request deletion feature is useless š
So, on X app or other centralized š© you deactivate account then request archive, then ask X to delete stuff from their servers(you trust them that they do it) and then you or whoever could have access canāt restore your account which makes sense. We should have something like this on here. Signal to relays that the private keys deleted and then clients will not sign you in with that private keys š¤
Itās not useless. Iāve deleted over 10k of my notes. Sure they probably exist on relays somewhere, but theyāre not easy to access. I challenge you to see how many of my notes prior to Dec 2023 that you can find.
Even if a NIP were created to signal that your private keys were compromised, people would just make clients and relays that ignore this NIP.
Once we will have a proper searching I will be able to find your nuked notes š
Idk, we gotta come up with ideas how to make private keys not accessible to anyone.
I can publicly say Iām leaving nostr and really leave it and never come back but someone will be pretending me that you might not even know. For example you canāt find yegorpetrov anywhere but only on nostr to verify if someone on behalf of me is posting notes or asking for money!
