We absolutely do need a better messaging experience here. DMs kind of suck. I've seen a couple clients that were specifically for DMs that had a lot of potential but I can't remember the name of them now.

Especially when it comes to groups chats, we have had to find privacy based applications such as simpleX to get groups of people together. It’s been fun and it worked alright, but was definitely an inconvenience having to download a whole new app.
Searchable, group chat DMs, with instant audio chat, is it too much to ask for??
