What is “life changing sats” to you? When do you feel comfortable enough to stop yer fiat work & go pursue the life you want?

I think it also depends on your age. (A how many years do you plan to live with it, how many years of growth do you want to wait before opting out) And of course where you live because sats buy you different amounts in different places.
Also other obligations, family, mortgage etc etc
This is true and frankly a very variable question. I am much further along than a 20 something college grad, further behind than a boomer looking at retirement. Just wanted to spur conversation without anyone doxxing their stack lol
You know what's a good amount at that age? Having enough so you can say gfy to any employer, customer whatsoever if you have to, but also enough time to keep stacking for later, whenever this will be.
But I totally feel you and ask myself the same question sometimes. My conclusion always is that it's not enough so I just keep going a little longer. Probably for many more years.

But thats not the question, it was when do stop washing dishes & start crafting 1100s style battle axes for sats?
I'm half retired and half retarded already.
Also, I wash dishes to clear my head. I don't use a machine, I prefer this form of meditation. My best ideas came to me while doing brainless jobs.
To answer your question, I don't really need much for myself. 10M sats 10y from now should be enough. Just as the bitcoin are mined in a spiral, so one should spend their stack when they decide it's time.
2 million sats I reckon, to get me through the last few weeks of perfecting my craft, before my wife loses it and heads out to get a job to support us both!
Probably 800-600mil sats for me to walk away from all fiat work.
Right now about 200-300m probably wouldn't stop it just do 2 days. Like Steve Hughes says.

Hehe, well, right now I don't have a fiat job, and our car decided it wanted a vacation so my husband can't do what he did for fiat (food delivery) so I guess in a way we already did this 🤔
But we started an English Tutoring for sats business, so we do have an active income job (my husbands the teacher, I admin) but we need more than 60k sats per week 😅
Rather than having a total amount that we'd like to reach, we'd like to reach a certain amount of total passive income per month/year, so we truly can keep doing what we want with our time. Part of that is the freedom to keep writing books. 😊
