So I understand that on Nostr you can’t be censored or removed. That’s good. But in the UK people have been arrested and convicted for saying things the state doesn’t like “hate speech”. If you identity is known on your nostr account. I know they can’t take it down but they could still come to your door and arrest you. Have I got that right?

I guess so. Anonymity can be a powerful cloak, but vital to have people openly speaking freely too.
It’s the fine line between pushing a new technology forward (Bitcoin/nostr) whilst not doxing yourself completely. also normies probably will be more swayed by real people rather than an avatar.
