Proton for sure. If you want the premium features you can pay with Bitcoin.

I like mulvad & like that you can pay for it in Sats with no registration.

Proton is really fkn easy and cheap. Love their privacy based alternative to gmails products. Dumped goog and went proton and honestly hasnt been painful at all.

I like the idea of have a complete alternative to Google products. I’d never looked at them before

The only goog product i have not found a decent replacement for is maps. I just spent time in Central America and unless you want to just use paper maps (what i did) just use googmaps.

I dumped gmail, and cloud backup, calanders etc and proton suite is so similar I haven’t noticed.

🍻

This is what I have found.

I keep a separate user profile on my phone for things like Googmaps, which I occasionally use. All that data collection certainly gives them the edge.

That’s actually a good idea. I have my old phone with no sim in it and I use it from time to time with a hotspot.

I hate the idea of buying a garmin or something but its an option.

I've been on a $degoogle path for around 6 months now. Love it, it is such a liberating feeling.

I'll check it out thanks.

I have several but like proton

Mullvad - anonymous signup, numerous settings to enhance security, privacy and limit censorship. You can enable multi-hops, set up quantum resistant tunnels, hide traffic is another protocol etc …

And can pay in sats ⚡️
