Leave the spares with your cleaners, or locked in a cabinet. If you need them because of accident the cleaner can take them or you can give the tenant the code to the lock.

The spares are locked up. The stuff that’s going missing is what the guests get. I hadn’t thought to count everything after each guest, I knew some would get stolen but not to this extent!
lol well shit, yeah I guess people have been stealing this stuff from hotels since forever as well. Can’t you don’t ring them a charge if it goes missing after they leave through Airbnb?
That’s what I’m going to have to start doing! I hadn’t been doing inventory between guests, didn’t think it would be such a big problem! The question is whether you would actually get anything back from Airbnb, the kind of person that would steal stuff isn’t the kind that would admit to it
