Damus displays my name as Karnage@karnage this doesn’t really say much does it?

Shouldn’t it be Karnage @snort.social?

If someone gets Karnage @ Iris.to it’ll still display Karnage@karnage, would it not?

Coracle and Iris don’t even display a nostr address on posts. What’s the point then?

It's for finding you, not verifying you. I switched to showing a "you follow this person" icon since it's the only self authenticating thing we have.

:( this only works on the profile. I guess this is the best we can do atm?

Why do we even need it then? Isn’t npub enough to find you?
