Do we want to be human or machine?

The question is rooted in the tension between what we are meant to be versus what we want to be.

His new book is worth a spin. It is a bit black-pilly but carries a lot of truth in it.

I am familiar with his background knowledge; though, I don't keep all of the names in my head. The idea that we are summoning God through the AI tech (although it will really be a Golem) has been out there for a while. And while I think there's some evidence demons can take on physical bodies, it take less energy to manifest through other means (possession or animation). AI would be an easy conduit since we can't really grasp what's happening in the more advanced code.

I haven't finished the video yet, but have enjoyed the first half... thank you for the post... it is appreciated.

this is an excellent discussion from paul kingsworth... and high signal for anyone, religous or not.

I have spent the past five years contemplating these questions, and have decided to remain human... it is an earth-shaking decision as I believe it will almost be impossible to relate to those that go the machine route.

thnx again wbt... this video greatly supplements my journey.
