Actually funny is that if you want to delete your account, you need to wait like month for the deletion.
When I was deleting my only one account I had like 12 years in December, I wondered what they are doing with these data to make that deletion so long.

works in iran, china, etc. not sure about n. korea, but i assume it also needs to be downloaded before entering the country etc.
I say this because the use of WhatsApp is deeply rooted in certain places where it is valued how “free” it results in mobile data plans offered by telephone operators. Privacy is not a priority in those cases.
But what actually is a best solution for family use?
You know, my parents and grandparents are using WhatsApp and I use it to communicate with them.

The only missing piece keeping me away from going all in with recommending simplex is that there currently is no redundancy as far as I know. Each contact just uses one server to reach the other, if that server is down for some reason, hard luck I guess 😂..
