Good Saturday!

It’s 94 degrees here! 🥵 We had to drive to town for something, so we decided to have lunch at my favorite local restaurant.

Isaan food is one of the favorite cuisines among both Thais and foreigners. It’s known for its spicy, bold, yet fresh and flavorful dishes like som tam (papaya salad), larb, and more.

My favorite kind of Isaan spicy salad is made with lotus stem—it’s fresh, crisp, light, and packed with flavor!

On the way back home, I was lucky enough to stop by this ice cream cart! They had delicious, creamy coconut ice cream—the perfect palate cleanser after our flavorful meal.
