At some point, it will be more appropriate to call NOSTR "STR" - Stuff Transmitted by Relays because the notes part will pale in comparison to the other stuff.

make those partioned paragraphs into individual notes (replacing the citations/latex unique identifiers with their actual text)

In addition to the actual citation network built by the authors, im taking the word embeddings of a subset to create a more organic semantic network -> higher resolution knowledge navigation at the paragraph level

I'd be okay with removing STR more than anything. Just change it entirely. I'm sick of all the unoriginal names and terms that just have STR at the end.

Nostr seems to be very in line with bitcoin - in terms of possible future adoption and consequences of what it means for the world. I know it may be difficult to see it now, but it is so much more than free speech / social mechanics. In some ways it is difficult to comprehend much like bitcoin was difficult to comprehend for the first, 2nd or even 3rd and 4th times you encounter it. I'm not even sure I grasp it full yet. The interoperability and network effects will be too great to compete against. It just has too many ways to onboard, all of which are currently not really working yet, but I can see a day where it'll start working.
It was easy to see the first time people zapped one of posts. I had a holy shit moment.
I imagined a young man posting pictures of his birthday party and friends and family zapping the post with no gatekeepers. Virtually no fees. I imagine virtual Christmas, Birthday, etc cards with P2P value attached.
I imagined creators no longer having to toe the line to please platform owners and ad buyers.
I imagined people living under authoritarianism having just a little more opportunity to gain freedom.
A chain of ideas set off in my mind. THAT is how I know something big is happening.
That's what happened when I finally understood #Bitcoin.
