What are Taproot annexes? And why is it important that mining pools are F2Pools and Mara are mining them?

Wondering why pools are allowing them knowing it could lead to loss of funds as described by Lisa ?

I don’t know, I guess it could be linked to monetary incentive?

Miner fee is heavier, thus they add it.

It’s good that annexes are finally being added. They could be used for various scripts or data. I would be interested why would you could loose value in future. Btc is irreversible. If something has value today, it should have value tomorrow too.

The point is not in losing value.

As far as I have understood, the point is that a future soft-fork could standardize the usage of the annexes and made older ones be unspendable.

You are very hypothetical. With such mindset we should not use utxo because future soft-fork could change utxo and made older ones be unspendable.

Well yes, it's indeed an hypothetical risk.

However, annex was consciously left unused to be able to decide later how to use it. This means that the plan is for it to actually be used in some ways in the future. That's the point.
