You don’t really want banking apps on your phone unless you want to get your carbon score defined..
My bank's app does not work.
A webapp should work fine.
Most do, especially with sandboxed google services. If you're with a bank with poor apps that require permissions like access to check your phone number they may not work. If that's the case though switch bank
Most do yes, some in the default configuration, some requiring sandboxed Play Services to be present. In exxeptional circumstances they could require toggling off some hardening features.
