If you take more peace, appreciation and perspective from this it can be helpful because ultimately none of us have very long to live whether its a few days or decades. Samourais and Zen practitioners would always walk with the feeling of death potentially being a moment away because it sharpened their awareness and gave a greater perspective to every situation.
However if its making you anxious though its more likely coming being in a darker mental place that is drawing you to that conclusion rather than the physical reality of your body. Its really common that people get convinced its almost over when in those states so guard your mind well!
They have no way of knowing that its been several years unless you've been arrested in that time. With weed it can be released by fat cells for months though if you're an all day consumer which could fail a blood, sweat, maybe hair test. Its honestly not worth it. I'm certain that it wouldn't be a right cultural fit for any sovereign individual wanting to make their own choices about their body and healthcare. We don't need them.
