Seems I'm living under a rock... Why is Debian dead?

In short, over the last year, the Debian Linux project:
- Had an exclusionary internship program (where Straight White Men were not allowed).
- Did performative virtue signaling by leaving X because of "Gender" and "Elon".
- Had a convicted, registered sex offender, of small children, as an official developer and team member without notifying others.
- Was represented, at their own conference, by a registered sex offender... without notifying attendees (which included families with children).
- Censored and banned anyone who attempted to warn people about the dangerous registered sex offender within Debian.
- Had multiple rounds of Debian representatives defaming others (including XLibre) by knowingly, inaccurately calling them "Nazis" (among other acts of libel).
- Refused to take any action against Debian representatives and team members who engaged in any of those activities.
- Refused to speak with tech journalists regarding those activities.
