If a free service I put online would randomly ask for a 2000 sats invoice to be paid at intervals (every 10 uses or so), would you be annoyed as hell or would you now and then pay that tipjar?
Discussion
Depends on the usefulness of the service, and how quickly 10 units of the service would be used.
If it's like a really good coding bot, probably. If it's just a video slot machine with a button, no.
it's not a slot machine 😉 - I'm coding a slot machine for fun, but that's free,...
the service would almost never reach 10 uses for one person, and the "tipjar" would just pop up now and then.
thx for the input

But keep in mind people are cheapskates unless there's some form of peer pressure. Or a really solid value proposition.
