Literally never seen it in deer. You have to get it tested for CWD in some counties, but its obvious. Also, you have to eat a bite of the heart in my neck of the woods.

Wild animals move arround a lot, when they get parasites and wormy, their likely old or sick and the coyotes take care of them real quick.

That makes sense, young and strong ones would be less prone to it.

I just thought that without antibiotics or the same treatment as farmed meat, that the animals would be full of parasites

Farmed meat can be free of worms and parasites without using dewormers too, its just more work because the human takes the role of a predator.

In nature, wolves and packs of coyotes forced bison to move frequently. Also, modern cattle genetics actually are more susceptible to parasites than their wild counterparts because the wrong traits have been selected for since 1971 (moee or less)
