Swale or septic drain
What is a swale?
If youāre not digging a swale, you should! Look up āgreening the desertā project. Or look up permaculture. Iāve been wanting to do this for a while.
Will do. This will be running under our tiny house.
A Swale is a trench or depression dug on contour and it gives the water time to seep into the ground. It also creates a bit of a micro climate and depending on plants you can plant on uphill or downhill side. Very beneficial for high volume low frequency rain event locations.
Its not a septic drain. We have compost toilet setups.
