I will say, i feel as modern men are very much expecting women to work and provide half of the finances. i know many men that refuse to take care of their women so they can stay at home, its depressing.
This particular friend of mine is extremely capable and has no trouble supporting a family. It’s not a financial question.

Not everyone wants kids, I don't think that's a bad thing if your partner has the same feeling.
