I think his career as a writer/blogger/speaker didn’t pay the bills. I think he had to switch to venture capital via shitcoins to make the lifestyle he wanted to live. When people started calling him out for shitcoining, he started separating from the community and claiming he wasn’t a bitcoin maxi.

His parents are extremely well off. If I remember correctly his father is with the world bank or something. Big time banker guy.
