Trump says China is evil

Yet he's having this Palantir database store everything similar to China's social credit score:

-Tax filings

-Student debt

-Social Security

-Bank accounts

-Medical claims

-Immigration status

Former Republican Representative Justin Amash: "The surveillance state...the police state...the deep state......are alive & well under Trump. He signed bills to extend & expand mass surveillance. Now he's building profiles' on millions of law-abiding Americans. It's an extraordinary threat to liberty." [1]

The real move is not to debate this stuff, but to prevent it from being in the database to begin with. It's hard to opt out of everything, but a good start is Linux, Degoogled phone, cryptocurrency, and encrypted messengers. Then self-host email and use VoIP (when a regular number is required). Finally consider buying things from parallel legal systems and economies. Slowly the resistance grows, through improving people's lives, and not violence on the street.

Ironically, the more you resist, the less dirt they have on you. And the better your "social credit score".

China makes so much cool stuff though

They do, but they're technocratic as can be.

But I want to enjoy those things, not live there

I'd want to enjoy them as well, also not live there, since it's nasty the conditions from what I've heard.

Those bad conditions are coming to the west too without sound money.

I think the conversation went something like this (also similar for all recent Presidents), 'Mr. President, we found a way to help you keep your campaign promises, the border will be secure, and we will remove tax on tips. However, there are a few items we've had on our list for several decades, some you may like, others you may not. Shall we make a deal?'

Take a listen to the Lex Fridman episode with Ivanka Trump, she does a very good job of bringing to light the challenges of reshaping the government.

This is generally my assumption on how this stuff goes. Trump isn't thinking through the various second and third order consequences of a unified database on Americans. It is almost certainly being packaged and presented to him as you are describing.

The 'Chinese credit score' you reference is mostly Western propaganda

This will probably end up being worse than China because the people behind it have no vision and aren’t even going to attempt to accomplish all of the societal benefits that China has, such as massive public infrastructure projects and affordable urban living.

I've been following the method from nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq37amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3dxqezuer0wfskvctrw3hhy7fwdaexwtcqyqahljprvy0346h2v0hrha5myku259hvd6qart7rjqngprlpjs657fpt27d for a while.

His work is fantastic for those who want to be intentional.

Those look like typical details during discovery in a court of law. Might be wise if we wanted to try anyone for treason and before we hang them I'd think. Big limb here.

I think I remember when they tried a former president (just can't think of his name) and requested his tax and bank records. Sorry, we didn't make the rules.

Is there a timeline of like 10 years on something dealing with Palantir or something?

none of those things can be opted out of just by using a degoogled phone and alternative currency.

the need for an alternative education system, an alternative medical system, and an alternative social morΓ© that values liberty over safety is greater now than ever in US history.

you're correct the problem can not be completely avoided by new tech alone. but new tech is the foundation for all of these other things, such as alternative social on secure devices. using alternative currencies to buy education or medical care
