Whenever I build anything on the bloated, fiat fueled heap of stinky spaghetti that #Wordpress is I instantly want to switch to #Drupal

Then I remember that although Drupal takes a LOT of resources but worst of all is now infested by woke insanities, so even using it is contributing to building one’s own, digital cage…

Oh well, it’s just about getting things out there, it will do for now!

Ideally I’d be very happy going back to manual HTML with basic CSS as in the nineties, for a single person navigating whatever might come these days that makes a lot of sense, especially if it is served by relays, IPFS, something similar or a combination!

Build your own cms… you lose a lot of things but you also gain a lot of control…

WCS is a great way to learn something…

I never worked much with drupal did some joomla back in the day…

Is also a bit shitty

Been there, done that, flat file on php around 2007 or so?

Can't remember, building it on your own does not make sense at all, unless you have or plan to get several customers that will stay with you paying the bills long term...

Yeah WCS is great! Used to learn from actual books, but these days things are developing sooo rapidly that I doesn't make sense diving deep into anything unless there is a direct reason i.e. income, in #Bitcoin of course :-)

I still use Hugo, I haven't blogged much lately but I like it because it's serverless and runs directly from s3. I was thinking about taking my posts and putting them on yakihonne because they are doing sats bounties for content and maybe i'd write some new stuff too.. 🌱
