I have located a copy of the book approximately 180 miles north from me in a public library on the Apache reservation, because I don't have the time to drive that far during finals season, the reward is still up for grabs. I have not been able to locate the book elsewhere. First person to provide PDF copy of the book mentioned in the note below gets the reward. Scan must be high quality.

this sidequest has been going on for roughly a month now. hoping to find it soon, but the book is both exceedingly rare and a bit on the expensive side for a 1999 children's picture book.
