I think Coracle, Snort, and probably Amethyst and Nostur already have WoT implemented. You'd just need to add an option in onboarding to not show low scored npub replies

Low scores npub replies ??? Is it like democracy on #Nostr ??? 👀

You can think about it in any way, the "score" is just a representation of a connection. Meaning, you only see replies from people who are connected through a follow, some x degrees of separation.

Why would mute lists that can be subscribed to created by users not be enough ??? 👀

Mute lists are good I think, but I doubt they would catch random asshole comments if they don't use random asshole terminology that's not on the list, or misspell on purpose.

Low scoring notes could be "below the fold" to remain hidden unless a user wants to go into the wilds?

Up to the client in how they wish to handle it. I like Snort implementation of mute words. Muted keyword notes show as muted, but you can also toggle to never show them. This is what I do and now I don't need to see if I muted someone, clean feed.

I 💜 mute words in Amethyst

A client that is purpose built as an onboarding platform is something I’ve been thinking about lately.

I don’t have the chips to build the thing but I think it’s a good idea. It’d be nice to be able to direct newbies to StartNostr.com (or something) and have many of these features available.
