Wise words do not change minds if the person is not ready for them. You can't change people; they change themselves when they're ready.

You sure? I say people will never be ready for wise words if they never hear any. The Overton window is a constant battleground

I'm definitely not against people sharing wisdom. I'm simply expressing my personal realization that you can't control how those words affect the person who reads or hears them.
