Yes, good. Most people identify themselves with the mind, but who's aware of the mind? This is what self-inquiry meditation helps with.
Think about it, the mind rises and falls, but you exist regardless. You can't be your mind, yet it says "I Am". This is why self-inquiry leads to self-realization. We're identifying with the wrong self. There's nothing to gain or achieve. That's why people are miserable trying to acquire more things, thinking it'll make them happy. I'll point out too that the mind doesn't even exist in deep sleep. Did you stop existing at that point? Of course not. The Real "I" is always there as a witness to everything.
