My homework today is even more basic. I need to know how relays work. How I can send (submit?) the things I write to a relay.
Like this thing I'm just writing, should I just "send" it as Amethyst offers me, or should I send it to a relay so it travels to other Apps I don't even know about yet?

You're fine with the default relay settings, no worries, but you might want to fine tune later to improve your Nostr experience.
Don't add too many relays, when your online mostly with limited mobile plan, because Nostr requires lot's of bandwidth.
Wait! You're saying that when I click on "send" I am already using all my list of relays? I don't have to do anything special there?
What if it's a long form post? Like, if I write an article here and click send, would it go to blogstack or do I have to publish it there?

That's the beauty of Nostr, you click on send and your note is published to all the relays in your list! No worries 🤓
