My dad is a gradeschool teacher of 30+ years (i respect him dearly). He is having trouble deciding when to retire because costs are continuing to squeeze him. He is a hard worker but not very receptive to new tech. I've been trying to explain how his social security/401k/retirement funds are a function of a system that is forcing him to work harder and harder forever on the wheel and btc allows him to buy his time back. I care about him and need him to get some sort of allocation to the orange lifeboat but many attempts are not sticking. What would you say to a 57 y/o guy who needs something he isn't open to, for his (and mom) own finacial logevity and safety?

some people just aren't ready for it. some will be when the right time comes, some won't be until it is too late.

the best you can do is to be there for him when it clicks so you can be a resource. there's little more to do now to force him onto your timeline, even if you know it is better for him.

I know this isn't what you want to hear. you're a good son to look out for your dad ❤️ be there for him. be present in his life. Bitcoin frees us from the hamster wheel so we can have more time and energy to be kind and generous with the ones we love. let that shine through and people will see it.
