We still need a good calendar / events app for Android. nostr:nprofile1qqsv8e5c93le8ezrmx0j6gkr6m7xhfs5wkh3r08j38uj0faeqhllu5gpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3kamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu339e682mnwv4k8xct5wvhxxmmdqywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttsw43zuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wsc977yn is iOS only for now.

Comingle looking nice!

Thanks for the feedback!

I’m looking at ways to bring Comingle to Android. πŸ™πŸΌ

Is there / could there be an SDK like your iOS Nostr SDK that would make it easier to make nostr native apps for android?

I mean the readme says it’s a work in progress but the last commit was 6 months ago. 🀷🏼

I just use amethyst libraries. Quartz and ammolite

You can use the rust SDK too https://rust-nostr.org/

Those are what I would recommend for actively developed Nostr Android libraries.

You'll probably have to convince Google to integrate Google Calendar with Nostr...

If the davx developers can integrate it into their product, its done.

I mentioned this nearly a year ago.

Also, devs that are doing this only on one ecosystem annoy me. There already are interoperable calender standards. We don't need an app. We need a service that pushes and pulls calender events in to and out of nostr so that people can use perfectly functional calendar apps that they already use. Once that happens, you don't need to build out another app, you just need to point your service to whatever calender you want to use.

*I'm not a dev. I don't know how to do this in terms of the code. I do know that I really can't stand this stupid bifurcation happening already. Hook into and expand systems in simple, versatile ways instead of making new, fairly proprietary apps that don't work on people's phones or computers.
