There is no end to taxes, they go up and up and up ad infinitum, and history repeats itself...

… until the population starts shrinking.

And that’s when immigration starts accelerating.

I am 100% pro-migration but not in combination w/ a social welfare state.

If a government says they are reducing taxes just know you are being taxed more under another tax. Right down to printing more money.

Imho the concern shouldn't be about the level of taxes rather what is done and how efficiently those taxes are used

Taxes are always theft, human nature is greedy.

When I have access to many public services I don't feel the taxes I pay are theft, as I can profit those in a way I probably couldn't profit as a single individual, no matter the wealth I have.

However what I also feel is that those taxes are not used efficiently, with probably organisational processes way to heavy, shrinking in a conséquent way the operational agents and material

But I doubt we'll find an agreement on the topic. You do believe human nature is greedy by nature. I do believe human is neutral by nature, the education and society makes him greedy in my PoV

Well, also the expenses go up (funding the weapon production monster, saving companies and banks, etc.) Just one example: During the lockdown time, the government basically saved TUI from going bankrupt. A m***cking tourist business selling tours to Mallorca 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ Funnily, people were happy about this. In the end, no German would like to miss their Eastern holidays even if the world is burning 🔥 😂

So increasing the taxes is not the evil plan of the government per se. It is a necessary measure to sponsor the wishlist of — unfortunately — a very infantile and helpless population. This is exactly the type of mentality, the greens and lefties want to see.
